Barbecued Grilled Chicken Breast

Ingredients
Barbecue Grilled Chicken
  • 4 Chicken Breast
  • Coarse salt & ground pepper
  • 1/3 cup Classic Barbecue Sauce
Classic Barbecue Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup American-style chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce
  • 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
Barbecue Grilled Chicken
  1. Heat Grill to medium heat
  2. Season chicken breast with salt & pepper
  3. Clean and lightly oil all grates
  4. Place chicken on grill skin side down
  5. Flip and grill until cooked through.
  6. About 1 minutes before chicken is done, brush with Barbecue Sauce.
Classic Barbecue Sauce
  1. In a heavy bottomed medium saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and the garlic and cook, often stirring, until the onion is golden about 8 minutes.
  3. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat to low. Simmer, often stirring, until slightly thickened, about 40 minutes.
  5. Cool completely. (To store, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week)
