Our non-petroleum meat trays are made completely from wheat stalk and are GMO- and gluten-free. Unlike Styrofoam meat trays, which take thousands of years to decompose, our trays break down naturally within months whether disposed of in a landfill or compost. Safe for the freezer and microwave, our trays are also strong, durable, and leak-resistant.

D'Agostino Supermarkets, along with partner Murray's Chickens is excited to take our first major step towards becoming the first supermarket in New York to eliminate Styrofoam meat trays. We proudly introduce our new EcoMV, compostable poultry tray. This initiative is the first of many steps D'Agostino's will be undertaking to provide our customers and their community's with earth-friendly alternatives throughout our stores.
