D’Agostino Goes Green: Sean Beyer of Nassau Community College named winner of the Student Designed Recyclable D’AG BAG!New York and Larchmont, New York (April 22, 2008) - With more than 35,000 votes cast, the results are in.. and the winning student design of the new recyclable D’AG Bag is: Sean Beyer. The four designs that captured the judges and that New Yorkers cast their votes for are from: Akshar Patel of the New York Institute of Technology, Katrina Ligot of Pratt Institute, Sean Beyer of Nassau Community College and Kar Kay Ho of Fashion Institute of Technology. This fall, Mr. Beyer’s design will be featured on recyclable D’AG Bags all over Manhattan and Westchester. First prize also includes a $1000 scholarship and a $500 D’Agostino gift certificate.
